Fees
How fees work
We are a cash practice, and we say so first. This is how a fee is set, when you pay it and what you get in writing.
Insurance we work with
We are a cash practice. We do not bill insurance plans, whether through an employer or the government, so there are no claims for your doctor's visit to wait on.
You pay for the visit you have
Nothing is billed to a plan on your behalf
If you pay yourself
You pay at the end of each visit by card, cash or check. HSA and FSA cards work like any other card. What sets the fee is the kind of visit, who is seen and what your doctor adds to it. The front desk tells you each fee in your written estimate, and your doctor tells you the cost of any recommended care before it begins.
Every visit ends with an itemized receipt, printed or emailed. A plan may reimburse part of it, and the plan decides.
An estimate in advance
If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. Ask us. We give you a written estimate before your first visit, and a new one if your care plan changes.
Checking your benefits
We do not check benefits, because we do not bill your plan. If you want to be reimbursed, call your plan before the visit and ask what it pays for out-of-network chiropractic care and what it needs besides an itemized receipt.
What the first visit includes
A talk with your doctor, an exam and, if your doctor recommends it, a first adjustment. Plan on about 45 minutes. X-rays are taken only when medically necessary and are quoted separately.
Please call us as early as you can if you need to change a visit. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.
