Soft tissue work

Hands-on work on muscles and the tissue around joints, added to a visit when your doctor suggests it.

You can ask for it, or your doctor may suggest it after the exam. It is added by the 15 minutes, so you know the cost before you agree.

What to expect

    Pressure, stretching and hands-on work with the muscles your doctor chooses after the exam.

  • How long and how often

    Most added blocks are one or two. Your doctor suggests a plan after the exam, and you can change it at any visit.

  • What we do not claim

    We do not promise results, and results vary. Soft tissue work is not a substitute for medical care, and we make no claims about conditions.

  • See a physician first

    Call your physician before booking if a muscle is hot, swollen or newly bruised after a fall, or if you take blood thinners.

  • How it is paid

    It is added to a visit by the 15 minutes. The front desk tells you the rate, and your doctor tells you the cost before it begins.

  • What you take home

    An itemized receipt and, if your doctor suggests it, a stretch to try at home.

Will the adjustment hurt?

Most people feel pressure, not pain, and some feel sore afterward. Your doctor changes the technique to fit you, and we stop whenever you ask.

How many visits will I need?

Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as you go. The exam and your goals decide it, and we do not promise a number of visits. You can stop at any time.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please call us as early as you can if you need to change a visit. Ask the front desk about our cancellation policy.
