HSA and FSA
Paying with an HSA or FSA card
A health savings account or flexible spending account lets you pay for medical costs with money set aside for them. Your plan administrator decides what counts.
We take an HSA or FSA card the way we take any card. We do not bill your plan, and we cannot tell you what it will reimburse.

Step by step
From the front desk to your account
- 01
Step 1: Ask your plan first
Call or check your account. Ask whether it covers chiropractic visits, and whether it wants anything besides an itemized receipt.
- 02
Step 2: Pay at the end of the visit
Use your HSA or FSA card, or any other card, cash or a check.
- 03
Step 3: Take the itemized receipt
It is printed or emailed, with the date, your doctor, each service, each fee and what you paid.
- 04
Step 4: Send it to your plan
Keep a copy. If your plan reimburses part of it, the plan decides. Call us if it needs more detail than the receipt gives.

HSA and FSA questions
Can I use my HSA or FSA card at the front desk?
Yes. We take it the way we take any card. Your account decides what it pays for.
Will my plan reimburse a visit?
A plan may reimburse part of an itemized receipt, and the plan decides. Ask your plan before the visit.
What if my plan wants a letter?
Ask the front desk. We can write what care was given and on which dates. Your plan decides what it needs.
Ask for your estimate
We email a written estimate before your first visit, line by line.
