Spinal adjustment
A hands-on adjustment of the spine and other joints, done by a licensed chiropractor after an exam.
It is for adults who want a chiropractor's hands-on care and an estimate they can read first. Your doctor adjusts the technique to you.

What to expect
What a visit includes
A talk, a short exam and, if your doctor recommends it, an adjustment.
Your doctor explains what they will do first
You can stop or say no at any point
An itemized receipt at checkout
How long and how often
A return visit is short. Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as you go. The exam and your goals decide how many visits, and we do not promise a number.
What we do not claim
We do not promise results, and results vary. We make no claims about conditions, and your doctor explains the risks of any adjustment before it begins. Rare serious problems have been reported after neck adjustments, so your doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment, and you can say no to any part of a visit.
See a physician first
Call your physician before booking if you have a fever with back pain, a recent fall or crash, or new numbness or weakness.
At checkout, by card, cash or check. The front desk tells you each line's fee in your written estimate.
What you take home
An itemized receipt, and a short note of what your doctor did and what comes next.
Questions about this care
Will the adjustment hurt?
Most people feel pressure, not pain, and some feel sore afterward. Your doctor changes the technique to fit you, and we stop whenever you ask.
Is chiropractic care safe?
Every kind of care has risks. Soreness after an adjustment is common and usually short. Rare serious problems have been reported after neck adjustments, so your doctor explains the risks before any neck adjustment, and you can say no to any part of a visit. If you have a sudden severe headache or neck pain, new weakness or numbness, chest pain, or loss of bladder or bowel control, call 911 or see a physician first.
How many visits will I need?
Your doctor sets a plan after the exam and changes it as you go. The exam and your goals decide it, and we do not promise a number of visits. You can stop at any time.
